Paula Golbin is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of e-Solar Properties LLC, a company committed to finding a delicate balance between homebuilding and a sustainable environment. This type of construction strengthens and promotes a healthy and dynamic balance between environmental, social and economic prosperity. Our goal is to design and build energy-efficient, cost effective, durable, reliable, non-toxic, low maintenance homes and buildings. “We provide unparalleled home construction, high quality materials and revolutionary building methods that benefit both the customer and the environment.” Ms. Golbin said during a recent article.  “Additionally, our winning combination of new technologies, highly custom engineered solar panels, innovative design, high efficiency systems and advanced recycled products, conserve our Earth’s resources, improve our wellbeing, and cost less to operate and maintain. As a result, these buildings provide a valued asset to the people, the companies and the communities that we serve,” she concluded.

As the Managing Partner, Paula is responsible for overseeing and managing ESP’s building team. She is in charge of property acquisitions and the supervision of our LEED, Energy Star and NJ Clean Energy program projects. Ms. Golbin is also accountable for delivering our projects on-time and within the approved budgets. Other responsibilities include marketing, branding, advertising, press and public relations.

She currently holds her Real Estate license at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Westfield, New Jersey. “As a realtor professional, it is my duty to ensure a wonderful real estate experience and do it with passion, professionalism, exceptional customer service and integrity.” At Coldwell Banker Ms. Golbin specializes in million dollar transactions, focusing in new construction. Now she hopes to tie in her “Environmentally Sensitive” building philosophy by educating people about the great advantages of Building Green.

As an active member of her community, Paula often talks to kids about the importance of taking charge and caring for our environment. She believes that education and knowledge are a big part of the solution to our climate crisis. Ms. Golbin was one of the driving forces behind the recycling program at Wilson Elementary School in Westfield New Jersey, were she resides with her family.

Paula Golbin brings more than 15 years experience in specialized branding, marketing and positioning. During her tenure at Viacom as an Executive Producer for MTV, she spearheaded the launch of seven channels in various countries. As EP, Paula was fiscally responsible for the channels budget and was in charge of marketing, promotions, advertising, public relations, customer service and sales. During her tenure, Paula Golbin grew the sales and marketing teams by an average of 37% a year, resulting in an increase of 55% in channel revenue and sponsorship opportunities.

Paula Golbin received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Fine Arts from Pepperdine University and continued her education pursuing a Graduate Degree from UCLA focusing on Business Administration. She is an active member of the US Green Building Council, Energy Star and NJ Clean Energy Program.

Mr. Goodman has been in the construction business and renewable energy, alternative fuels, and environmental sustainability business for the last 36 years. Mr. Goodman graduated from Antioch College with a civil engineering degree in 1969 and in 1971 completed his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Goodman is also one of four Principal Owners of North Arrows LLC (www.northarrows.com), of Upper Saddle River, New Jersey which became one of the primary investors in ISE Corporation (www.isecorp.com). ISE invents, designs, and manufactures large heavy duty hybrid electric vehicle propulsion systems in the USA and Europe which run on hydrogen, diesel, gasoline, CNG (compressed Natural Gas) and ethanol. ISE’s Hybrid electric systems significantly lowers adverse NOX, SOX, PM (particulate matter) and other emissions, increases fuel efficiency and represents a meaningful solution to lowering our nation’s CO2 (greenhouse gases) inventories while also improving our prospects for better Home Land Security.

Goodman is a 36-year participant in the power generation, construction and asset investment marketplace.  In 1980, Goodman founded United American Energy Corp. (UAE). UAE grew from $800 thousand of invested capital to over $450 million of assets by 2003.  UAE developed, acquired, built, owned, managed and financed electric generating facilities specializing in renewable energy such as hydroelectric power, and also owned gas-fired cogeneration, generation powered by coal and renewable solid waste fuels.  UAE, and its partner Duke Energy, equally owned and controlled American Ref-Fuel LLC, the largest municipal solid waste-to- renewable energy company in the Northeastern United States.  On December 12, 2003, Goodman and his partners sold UAE by merger for over $1.1 billion in enterprise value. 

Prior to UAE, Mr. Goodman was employed for seven years by Grow Tunneling Corp., a leader in constructing large municipal underground public works projects. Between 1973 and 1980, Goodman served as Field and then Project Engineer and Business Manager on the New York City Water Tunnel, one of the largest public works projects in the country.  Among other tasks, he was responsible for the utility and power infrastructure, which was then the largest of its type for any construction project in New York City. He was also Project Manager for the Atlanta Airport River Diversion tunnel, Atlanta, Georgia and numerous other underground projects.

Goodman is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, member of the Moles, former president of the New York Alliance for Hydroelectric Energy, former director of the National Hydropower Association, former member and director of the Electric Power Supply Association and former member of the New York Independent Power Producers Association (IPPNY) and most recently, through e-Solar, is a member of the US Green Building Council. He has written and lectured on all aspects of independent energy project financing, renewable energy development, alternative fuels for large hybrid electric transit buses, and most recently on the subject of present and future global anthropogenic activity as it affects environmental sustainability.
